Is chiropractic safe for pregnant mamas and children?

Absolutely! Dr. Joe has completed thousands of hours to become specialized in caring for pregnant women and children. He has an Advanced Proficiency at the PX level and carefully works on pregnant women and children to ensure their comfort and safety. Adjusting a child or baby is not the same as adjusting an adult. Think about it like this: The amount of force you would use to test the ripeness of a tomato is equivalent to the amount of force used to adjust an infant.

How soon can I get checked after giving birth?
It’s never too soon. The sooner your body can fully focus on your recovery the better. We know this is a very special time for you and your growing family! With all the healing that takes place after pregnancy, it is important to start the postpartum (4th Trimester) off on the right foot. Some moms choose to schedule an appointment on their way back from the hospital while other moms choose to wait a few days after spending some quality time with the new little one. So regardless of whether you have a home birth or have your little one in the hospital; it’s about you, your comfort, your recovery process and your needs that will always be the deciding factor on when to get checked.
How old does my baby need to be to get checked?
Again, it is never too soon to have your child checked. Dr. Joe has assessed and adjusted infants as young as 1 day old. Birth can be traumatic and lead to a lot of stress in the nervous system for both mother and child. Getting checked in our office or any PX qualified office (found at https://pxdocs.com/px-docs/) as soon as possible is vital to the development of your child!
Do you offer a family discount?
We love serving families, so we have of course found a way to make it possible to offer a family discount. The family friendly discount depends on the number of family members committed to care, their specialized care plan and their enrollment in CompliantCoupons (For more information please ask our team for details).
Do you care adults too?

Yes! We love to help entire families which means parents and adults are seen here too! Our office especially loves to see families coming in together for care; it usually yields better results! We and our members just know that caring for kids in their first years of life offer them the best jump start possible for their development leading to a happy, healthy future! 😉

What can I expect when becoming a new member?

Becoming a new member actually begins before you even set foot in Live Better Chiropractic. It starts with completing your kiddo's or your customized intake paperwork (which can be found on our Become a New Member page). Understanding your kiddo's or your life's journey up to this point is important in helping us essentially "walk in your shoes".

Day 1, is all about getting to know your kiddo or your life's journey up to this point in time. After you have a consultation and physical exam with Dr. Joe, we will get to the root of what brings you into the office with the first nervous system scan. The neurological scan is state of the art, non-invasive technology that measures where the nervous system is stressed, stuck (subluxated), exhausted, and not functioning properly . This initial scan will establish a baseline of health that will be measured again throughout your Care Plan. You'll end your first appointment by ensuring your Day 2 Report of Findings is scheduled. Your first appointment usually lasts about 40 minutes.

Now, onto Day 2. You will meet again with Dr. Joe to go over the results of the first neurological scan. The amount of time and frequency needed to restore neurological ease is part of your customized Care Plan. One of the LBC team members will then help you choose the payment option the works before for you and your family. Next, you'll schedule the next 12 appointments at your preferred time until your second neurological scan. Lastly, it's time for your kiddo's first neurologically based adjustment with Dr. Joe. This appointment lasts about 40 minutes.

Can I just get one adjustment?

For best results and to realistically reach your health goals, we recommend our patients go through the Day 1/Day 2 process and then commit to a specialized care plan. There are also considerable savings that come along with committing to your care plan (aka health). With that being said, we do offer a one time adjustment.

How many appointments will it take?

Because every member is unique, the amount of visits in a care plan vary. Many factors come into play regarding health, such as, the severity of your chief complaint, how long you’ve had your condition, and your everyday lifestyle. During the Day 1/Day 2 process, Dr. Joe will recommend a specialized care plan to best help you reach your health goals. Time, energy and consistency are important in healing your body. While Dr. Joe is currently the only doctor in this office, we have the ability to consult with hundreds of other doctors around the globe who specialize in neuro-focused, pediatric, pregnancy & family wellness care.

Long story short you have the best scientific-based 🤓, results driven 🙌 care in the world, located right in your own back yard because we love our community and we love you ❤️

Do you take insurance?

Live Better Chiropractic is out of network with insurance companies and runs a private pay practice accepting cash, check, or credit card. We also accept FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) and HSA (Health Savings Accounts).

To ensure you are provided with the best of care based on you or your family member’s needs, payment is received at the time of care. There is a monthly auto debit or pay in full option for care plan members.

What is your cancellation policy?
Your appointment time is reserved for you. A late cancellation or missed visit takes away from an opportunity in which we have told someone they cannot come in at that time. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Members who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment are subject to a $40 fee.
